X - Marks the Spot Crochet Dress Pattern
This PATTERN includes videos and images to help you achieve a successful handmade crochet dress on your own.
This dress is made from the top down starting with the collar. You will work in the round, and slip stitch to join. You will not turn your work. As you progress, you’ll try on your dress to mark the arms row, and continue working in the round until you’ve reached your desired length for the body and add length to the arms. Finally you will end with the same border as the collar, on the wrist cuffs and bottom of the dress using an interesting foundation crochet technique that I will explain in detail.
Yarn recommendations: Alize Diva Stretch, Himalaya Celinda Stretch or any sock/sport weight 2 yarn
Double stranded Alize Diva Stretch or any fingering sock weight 1 yarn.
4.5 mm for sizes XS-L
5 mm hook for XL and up
Stitch markers
Darning needle
Beading (optional)
