All exclusive designs, patterns, and handmade products are the intellectual property of Mermaid Overland Designs and may not be replicated, resold, or distributed without permission.
Customers may use purchased products for personal use but cannot claim patterns, branding, or packaging as their own.

Handmade Product Disclaimer
​
Due to the nature of our handmade products, slight variations in color, texture, and finish may occur. While we strive for consistency, factors such as small-batch production, dye variations, and material differences can result in minor differences from product photos. These variations do not affect product quality and are not considered defects. By purchasing from Mermaid Overland Designs, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations as part of the handcrafted process.

Product Safety and Usage Disclaimer

Non-Edible Products:
All of our products are strictly non-edible and are not intended for human consumption. They contain materials that may be harmful if ingested.

Allergic Reactions:
Individuals with known allergies or sensitivities should exercise caution when using our products. If you experience any allergic reactions or discomfort, discontinue use immediately and seek medical attention.

Disclaimer of Liability:
Mermaid Overland Designs disclaims any liability for personal injury, property damage, or other damages arising from the use, misuse, or inability to use our products. This includes, but is not limited to, allergic reactions, ingestion, or any unforeseen consequences.

General Terms and Conditions
​
Turnaround Time (TAT):
The average turnaround time for custom-made products is 2 to 4 weeks, depending on the product. Please refer to the specific item listing to see a more accurate estimated turnaround time.

Cancellations for Made-to-Order Items:
Cancellations are only accepted within 24 hours of placing an order. Once production begins, cancellations are not permitted, and the order is final.

Defective vs. Handmade Variations:
Minor variations in size, color, and texture are expected due to the handmade nature of our products. These do not qualify as defects and will not be eligible for refunds or exchanges. However, if you receive a product with a genuine defect, please contact us within 5 days for a resolution.

Lost or Stolen Packages:
Once a package is marked as ‘Delivered’ by the carrier, Mermaid Overland Designs is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please check with your local post office and neighbors. If theft is suspected, we recommend filing a claim with your local authorities.

Customization Requests:
For fully custom requests, customers must provide all required details before production begins. Mermaid Overland Designs reserves the right to refuse custom requests that are beyond our scope of work or that require unapproved design changes after an order is placed.

Wholesale Orders:
I do not accept wholesale orders at this time, but the right inquiry may change that. Please contact me at mermaidoverlanddesigns@gmail.com.

Rush Orders & Expedited Processing:
At this time, I do not offer rush orders or expedited processing. All orders are handmade in the order they are received. If you have a deadline, please order well in advance and check product listings for estimated processing times.

Gift Orders & Packaging:
If your order is a gift, please indicate this in the notes at checkout. While I do not offer traditional gift wrapping at this time, all items are securely packaged with care. If you'd like a personalized note included, please add it to the order notes.
​
Digital Products & Crochet Patterns:
All sales of digital crochet patterns or other digital downloads are final and cannot be refunded due to their downloadable nature.

Customer Responsibilities for Custom Orders:
For custom garment orders, it is the customer's responsibility to provide accurate measurements and order details. Mermaid Overland Designs is not responsible for sizing errors due to incorrect information provided by the customer.

Social Media & Customer Photos:
I love seeing customer photos! By tagging @MermaidOverlandDesigns on social media, you give permission for your image to be shared on my platforms. If you prefer your images not to be shared, please send me a message.

Heat & Care Instructions:
Tumblers: Our tumblers are handmade and should be hand-washed only. Avoid extreme heat and do not place in the dishwasher or microwave.
Crochet Items: Handmade crochet items should be washed gently in cold water and laid flat to dry to maintain their shape and quality.​

Order Confirmation:
For information regarding your order status or confirmation, please refer to the "Orders" section within your account on our website.

Shipping to Canada:
Yes, we do offer shipping services to Canada. Shipping fees apply to all orders shipping to Canada; the average shipping cost is approximately $15.
​
Order Modifications and Shipping Inquiries:
Orders cannot be modified once placed, and shipping cannot be combined. We will also not refund the difference if you forget to apply a discount code.

Reporting Issues with Received Packages:
You have a 5-day window from receiving your package to report any missing, damaged, or defective items. If a return is approved, a return shipping label will be provided, and the item must be shipped back within 5 days to be accepted.

Product/Color Availability and Discontinuation:
Product and color availability is subject to change, and we reserve the right to discontinue or modify our product lineup at any time. Should a product be discontinued, it will not occur while there are orders pending for them.

Reselling and Usage Restrictions:
Reselling our products is prohibited unless a prior agreement has been reached with us.
